Jaclyn Pilkington is a registered massage therapist currently practicing in Cambridge, Ontario. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and holds an active certificate with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She has been trained in the assessment, treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain in the body. During her training she has learned a variety of different techniques, which she uses in her treatments including, but not limited to, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations and neuromuscular proprioception.
During her schooling she had the privilege to work with clients in Hospice Wellington, the MS Society and others. These experiences helped her gain the knowledge needed to work with various clients and address their treatment goals.
In order to further her understanding of the human body she is currently enrolled in the Osteopathic Program at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO) in Toronto. As she studies osteopathy, with the intent to benefit her clients and their different needs, she now includes advanced assessment and techniques within all her treatments.
